University of Iowa Elements of Art Instructor of Record Jan. 2019- present
- Teach students the Elements and Principles of Art using various drawing techniques. Create Syllabus, conduct demos and grade student work.
- Teach students multiple techniques in Intaglio, Lithography, and Silkscreen. Create syllabus, lead critiques, conduct demos and grade student work.
- Teach and assist high school students who received the Scholastic Award Scholarship various printmaking techniques. Create Syllabus, lead critiques, conduct demos and do an artist talk.
- Teach students multiple techniques in Relief printing and Monoprinting. Create syllabus, lead critiques, conduct demos and grade student work.
- Make lesson plans and teach alternative printmaking techniques tailored to children ages 5-14.

Mid America Print Council (MAPC) Board Member 2018-2020
- Serve as a voice for MAPC and assist on planning committees for the MAPC biennial print conference and vote on MAPC related matters.
- Collaborative printing with Virginia based artist Steve Prince for an edition of 16 lino prints. Prepped paper for printing and assisted in printing and hung prints to dry.
- Collaborative printing with Minneapolis based artist Jenny Schmid for an edition of prints. Cut down paper and prepped paper in a damp pack, registered and printed ½ of a diptych print edition.
- Collabrative printing with New York based artist Jane Kent for a varied edition of prints. Cut down paper and assisted in screenprinting process.
- Collaborative printing with New York based artist Elana Herzog for a varied edition of prints. I calendared and registered paper, exposed, cleaned/etched photo-plates and sponged litho stone during printing process.
- Collaborative printing with South Dakota based artist Andrew Costen for an edition of prints. Registered and printed intaglio plates.
- Collaborative printing with Indiana based artist Kathryn Polk for an edition of prints. I calendared paper, cleaned/etched and inked photo-plates litho stones, and pronto plates.
- Collaborative printing with Arizona based artist Kathryn Polk for an edition of 45 prints. I calendared paper, cleaned/ etched and inked photo-plates and stones.
- Collaborative printing with North Carolian based artist Matt Egan for an edition of 28 prints. I calendared paper, cleaned/etched photo-plates and sponged photo-plates while Matt inked them.
- Collaborative printing with New York based artist Aliene Howell. Assisted in hand printing linoleum blocks that would be used for a public mural installation during the 2015 ECU Relief Summit.
Iowa Print Group Treasurer Aug. 2016- Aug 2018
- Keep records of IPG funds, attend funding meeting and write funding proposals for IPG events.
- Assist in preparing gallery space for exhibitions, work the reception desk of the gallery, assist in handling and processing artwork to be hung for exhibitions, and customer service.
- Conducted a relief-printing demo with fellow printmaker Connor Colvill for East Carolina University School Of Art and Design foundations students during exhibition hours. The demos were conducting in the Burroughs Gallery of East Carolina University.
- Live, large-scale relief printing during the NC Fresh Catch Festival in Raleigh, NC. I assisted in inking large wood blocks with local printmakers Brian Gonzales, Raj Bunnag, Josh Jackson, Jaclyn Bowie, and Connor Colvill that were printed live via steamroller.
- ECU’s Print Guild hosted three days of numerous printmaking events and exhibitions. I oversaw print summit activities. We brought in Bill Fick for an artist talk and Brandon Sanderson, Brett Anderson, Aliene Howell for print demos. I coordinated via email with professional printmakers to get them to send in some of their work for the pro show. I coordinated with Bill Fick to bring him in for an artist talk.
- Curated the 2015 ECU Relief Summit Pro Show Exhibition that displayed the works of Julia Curran, Tugboat, Brandon Sanderson, Smoot, Bill Fick, Heather Muise, and Michael Ehlbeck. This show was held at Art Avenue in Greenville, NC and stayed up from Feb. 4th – Feb. 28th 2015.
- Assisted in inking and printing 4 x 8 wood blocks that were printed via steamroller during the Relief Summit Large Scale Printing Demo.
ECU Print Guild Vice President August 2015 – May 2016
- Oversee guild operations. Attend Visual Arts Forum (VAF) meetings where all the visual arts guilds populate to discuss how each guild intends to use guild funds. I also assist the president in applying for funding to bring in visiting artist. The Print Guild was able to bring in Printmaker Kathryn Polk to do a color litho demo for a week during the month of March 2016.
ECU 2015 Alumni Exhibition at Emerge Gallery
- Assisted in preparing wall space on which art was to be hung. Assisted in the hanging of the exhibition and was a gallery attendant during the exhibition.
- Attended Southern Graphics Conference International in Knoxville, TN. I displayed prints during the Open Portfolio event and visited numerous galleries, art studios, and the University of Tennessee’s printmaking department.
